Ondo Youths Mobilise One Million Votes for Tinubu, Demand Jobs and Infrastructure
The Ondo Youth Alliance for Tinubu (OYAT) has intensified grassroots mobilisation efforts across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State, targeting the delivery of over one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
The initiative reflects a coordinated effort by youth leaders and stakeholders to deepen civic engagement while strengthening support for the Renewed Hope Agenda.
During a stakeholders’ engagement in Akure, the group highlighted that the mobilisation drive extends beyond political support, focusing on youth empowerment, job creation, and infrastructure development.
“Our mission is not just mobilisation, but meaningful participation. We are advocating for opportunities that directly impact young people — from employment to digital innovation and infrastructure,” the group stated.
OYAT emphasised the importance of aligning government policies with youth realities, ensuring that young people are not only participants in democracy but beneficiaries of national development.
The alliance also acknowledged ongoing government interventions in entrepreneurship and access to financing, noting that more targeted investments are needed to unlock the full potential of youths in Ondo State.
Through community outreach, campus engagements, and grassroots sensitisation, OYAT continues to build a structured, youth-driven movement focused on unity, participation, and accountability.
The group reaffirmed its commitment to shaping a future where young people play a central role in governance and development outcomes.
